Scientist, Research Institute of Technology
Czech scientist, entrepreneur and visionary working with filtering wastewater and turning it into drinking water. For the past several years Michael Carvan has been grappling with one of the most pressing issues of our time, namely waste processing and dwindling drinking water supplies. Carvan’s water purifying equipment can even transform pig slurry into drinking water and make the solids into pellets with the same heating value as wood. His process is one of the most efficient in the world. Carvan invests a great deal of energy into raising global awareness and sees potential for his mechanisms in a wide range of industries, everywhere from agriculture to traveling to Mars – which happens to be the subject of his current project Hydronaut.
